Cllr Sandy Scott farms in partnership with his son. He represents Jedburgh and District as a Conservative Councillor, is a member of the Executive Administration at Scottish Borders Council, where he holds the Communities and Health Portfolio. He is chairman of the Equalities and Diversity Committee, and vice-chair of the Criminal Justice Authority Committee. He is also the Councillor representative on Borders NHS Board.
