Pat Alexander worked in East Lothian Social Work Department for twenty five years and was Head of Community Care from 2000 until her retirement in 2004. She was responsible for the strategic and operational management of all care services purchased and provided by the Council, working closely with NHS colleagues. Pat also assumed responsibility for the delivery of criminal justice services in the county. She lives in Berwickshire and is a volunteer and committee member with Berwickshire Branch of Riding for the Disabled.
