Non Executive Member Re-appointed to NHS Borders Board

NON-EXECUTIVE MEMBER RE-APPOINTED TO BOARD

NHS Borders is pleased to announce that Adrian Lucas has been re-appointed as a Non-Executive member to the Board.

An independent Executive Coach who lives in Peebles, Adrian has served as a Non-Executive Director with NHS Borders for the past two years.

Before joining NHS Borders, Adrian gained more than 34 years experience in the NHS and was formerly Chief Executive of the Scottish Ambulance Service where he led the organisation through a significant period of modernisation and change.

This re-appointment will be for a period of four years from 1 December 2009 to 30 November 2013.

Adrian said: “I have enjoyed my time with the Board. They are a great group of people and I’m looking forward to continuing to work with them.”

We have benefited from his experience and knowledge since his appointment and I look forward to continuing to work with him over the next few years as we work to ensure we meet the health needs of the people in the Borders.”
