What we do:
Huntlyburn House is a 30 beded in-patient unit for people of all ages, with mental health problems, who require specialist care during an acute phase of their illness.

About our services:
Our dedicated team is led by, and made up of a compliment of Charge Nurses, Staff Nurses and Health Care Assistants.
We believe that quality holistic care is dependent upon a multi-disciplinary approach. Our practice is based upon collaborative participation across all disciplines.
Huntlyburn provides psychiatric assessment, treatment and discharge planning in a safe and secure environment that promotes physical and mental wellbeing. A bio-psycho-social model underpins individualised care. Focusing upon assisting individuals in managing their illness and wellbeing at their optimum level within their chosen lifestyle and working towards an expedient return to the community.

How to access our services:
Our services can be accessed via Community Mental Health Teams, Psychiatric Liaison, or Pect (as appropriate). Overnight all referrals are co-ordinated via night charge nurse based at Huntlyburn.
