Making an appointment:

All surgeries are by appointment. If you feel that it is vital to be seen on that day and there are no available appointments, you will be offered a 5 minute emergency appointment or alternatively a telephone consultation with a GP who will assess your needs.

Out of hours: 08454 242424

Out of hours is now NHS 24 - 08454 24 24 24 who take over weekdays from 6pm until 8am and on a Friday from 6pm until 8am monday morning

Home visits:

Home visits are available for patients who are too ill to attend the Health Centre. If possible your request should be telephoned before 10:30am giving the receptionist an indication of the problem and the urgency. This allows your doctor to act appropriately. We ask patients to remember that we can see 3 or 4 people in the surgery in the time an average visit takes.

Repeat prescriptions:

If you are on regular medication your doctor may arrange for this to be added to the computer. You will receive a reorder sheet with each prescription. Please always use this to obtain your regular prescriptions allowing 48 hours, excluding Saturday & Sunday. Repeat prescriptions need regular monitoring. From time to time you will be asked to see your own doctor.
