About our services:
Services Provided

Dean View support people whose mental health problems seriously affect their everyday life. This service is provided to adults over 16, and is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday.
Our aim is to offer a range of assessments and treatments that will support you to:

  • Return to good health and reduce how often you are ill
  • Make the best recovery you can
  • Engage more fully with your Local Community
  • Empower and enable the Individual to gain control of life

Services are provided in a variety of ways:

  • Working in groups
  • Individual support

Staff
A multidisciplinary team provides care. Day Services Team has:

  • A Charge Nurse
  • 2 part-time Staff Nurses
  • An Occupational Therapist – Part Time
  • A Support Worker – Part Time

Philosophy of Care
Our aim and Philosophy of Care is to provide a supportive, therapeutic environment, in which clients’ needs are assessed individually. Client involvement is encouraged in the running of the unit and empowering the client in making descisions about their care and treatment plan.

  • In a quiet private setting

How to access our services:
A person’s General Practitioner makes referral to the Community Mental Health South Team.
