How to get to the Hospital

Buses

Buses come to the hospital and stop near the main entrance.  You can get information about times of buses from

  • The National Traveline on 0871 200 2233,  http://www.traveline.info/
  • There is a traveline freephone at the front desk on the ground floor of the hospital.
  • Bus timetables are in the leaflet rack, also at the front desk

By car

The hospital  is off the A6091 (Melrose by-pass) between Galashiels and Newtown St Boswells.

Parking is free but the car parks get very busy so allow plenty of time.

Car parking is not allowed at the main entrance.  People can be dropped off or picked up there.

If you need help (such as with a wheel chair) there is an intercom system to the left of the main door.  This is linked to the reception desk.  It can be used Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and from 2pm to 6pm at the weekend.
