Information on the Freedom of Information service

The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 promotes openness and accountability by ensuring that any person requesting information from a public body like the NHS, will receive that information, subject to certain exemptions. The Act also requires us to adopt and maintain a Publication Scheme which lists the types of information we will regularly publish.
